SUMMER STARTS HERE: LEGENDARY HEADLINING MUSIC ACTS AND ICONIC ATTRACTIONS AT DREAMLAND MARGATE

The summer starts this July at Margate’s iconic amusement park by the sea, Dreamland, with a range of attractions and rides for all the family and headlining music acts on the unique Scenic Stage.

Beginning on Saturday 20 July, Dreamland will open every day welcoming visitors with rides, roller coasters, roller skating and street food with free park entry for all. For 2024, alongside the UK’s oldest wooden roller coaster, the Scenic Railway, and the lofty Big Wheel, a variety of new additions have joined the line up including the all-new Pirate Ship, Noah’s Ark and Cups and Saucers. Rides are operated on a pay per ride basis, with ride token bundles available.

Families and friends can enjoy the delights of the retro Roller Disco, the popular Arcade and amusements plus food and drink, provided by the renowned street food aficionados, KERB in collaboration with LevyUK & Ireland.

On 25 May, Dreamland played host to the latest edition of the beloved annual event Recessland, kicking off summer in style with the biggest event of the season yet: an epic celebration of the richness of Black British culture in all its forms. Following Recessland, the unique outdoor setting of the Scenic Stage is set to host a range of headlining music acts, beginning with elbow on Friday 7 June.

Dreamland continues to build its reputation as the South Coast's most exciting live music venue with acts including Limp Bizkit, JLS, Nile Rodgers, Jess Glynne, Status Quo, Busted, Becky Hill and many more. Full listing and tickets can be found at dreamland.co.uk.

Eddie Kemsley, CEO of Dreamland said: We are all so excited for our outdoor season to get underway.  We’ve got an epic line up of music, with something for everyone. From legacy acts, like Status Quo, Sister Sledge and Nile Rodgers, to high-energy, hands-in-the-air, nights with Rudimental and Leftfield & Orbital, to an all day family rave with the folks from Ravertots and everything in between.  No matter what the great British weather does, it’s going to be a scorching summer in Margate!’

Dreamland is now open on weekends and every day from 20 July - 1 September, entry is free. Opening times and more information can be found at dreamland.co.uk.
